The Quepem Urban Cooperative Credit Society Ltd popularly known as Quepem Urban was established on 08th August 1992 by people committed to social cause in Quepem area. The Quepem Urban Co-operative Credit Society Ltd., was registered with 262 promoter members and Rs. 84,000/- as its share capital with Shri Prakash S. Velip as a Chief Promoter and then elected as a first Chairman of the society. The Society always kept the goal of helping economically weaker section of the society and has carved a place as society of masses and not only for classes.
The society was then registered under Maharashtra Co-operative Act 1961 started to make its progress from the year 1992 and started to extended its area of operation from Quepem to Balli with a Branch in the year 1994. The society gradually spread its wings in the entire state of Goa with branches at eleven Talukas of Goa.
The Society has achieved distinguished success in co-operative sector particularly because of its distinct objectives and strategic planning. The Society has nurtured its traditional values in business practices and in serving the small customers. It has carved a niche in the banking sector with complete integrity and adherence to best banking practices along with technological advancement and customized products. Good governance and a committed Management with the Board of Directors with keen interest in the well being of the Society has been instrumental for Quepem Urban in reaching greater heights.

The Quepem Urban Cooperative Credit Society Ltd. is making steady progress and the share holders, customers, employees and well -wishers are integral part of this progress. Their involvement and contribution is immense. Today the Society has network of 23 branches in the state of Goa.
Our Society has implemented ABB (Any Branch Banking). Customer now will be able to do their transaction from any branch by the aid of finest banking software connected with lease lines.
Branches provide various services under one roof apart from banking service. We have Locker facilities, RTGS / NEFT, Insurance products, Western Union, Money Gram International etc.
